Sound Summit took place once again over the October long weekend in Newcastle as part of the This Is Not Art (TINA) Festival. MusicNSW was represented by Tracy Redhead, Stefan Zagorski and Richard Tamplenizza presenting on a range of topics including running independent labels, resources for independent artists and more.
Workshops were well attended with the likes of Tom Ellard (Severed Heads), P.J. Murton (Hilltop Hoods Manager) and Funckarma (Holland) headlining panels on production, distribution and promotion for independent artists working in hip-hop and electronica.
