The 11th Australian Music Prize is currently mulling over their longlist with the final announcement soon to be revealed. Are you an artist who has released a record in 2015? You can submit your album for consideration. All you need to do is the following:
Send an email through to info@australianmusicprize.com.au with the artist name, album title, release date and a link to where the judges can listen to the record.
The artist must be an Australian, the album must be at least nine tracks long (33 1/3 minutes of music) and the album must be a new release of 2015. The winning artist will take home $30,000 prize money thanks to the PPCA. Check out the albums already longlisted – the AMP’s short list announcement will be made in January, with the final result being unveiled in March.
