MusicNSW & APRA AMCOS present Managing a Creative Calling with Tom Larkin (Shihad) - MusicNSW

Happening this week in Newcastle and Port Macquarie, producer, artist manager and Shihad drummer Tom Larkin will be conducting dynamic and open sessions on creativity, business, and finding support along the way.

Forging a creative career is thrilling. But it comes with its own set of financial and emotional challenges. Recent research has brought mental health issues within the music industry to the forefront and APRA AMCOS has been facilitating events on the topic.

APRA AMCOS and MusicNSW are extending the well-received events to Port Macquarie and Newcastle, with Shihad drummer, producer and artist manager Tom Larkin leading Managing a Creative Calling. Drawing on a combination of research, personal experience, and strategies, Tom conducts a dynamic and open session on creativity, business, and finding support along the way. APRA AMCOS Representative Caroline McKnight and MusicNSW Producer Laura Murdoch will briefly discuss their organisations’ initiatives and be on hand for the duration of the evening for questions.

The event is FREE and open to anyone with an interest in a creative career. RSVPs essential via writer@apra.com.au.
