triple j’s host Rosie Beaton has announced that 2011 will be her last year on the js as she plans to pursue other opportunities.
Commenting on her departure today Beaton said: “I think the success of Super Request is thanks to the amazing music lovers who requested songs over the years. I’ve always made the show about the listeners – their stories and requests – and I really enjoy the daily interaction and programming. I’ve had the best time hosting Super Request. I’m going to miss it, but it’s time for new opportunities.”
It is currently unknown whether Super Request will continue in it’s current format with a new presenter in 2012.
