BIGSOUND INTRODUCES NEW MUSIC & DESIGN PROGRAM - MusicNSW

Brisbane’s iconic music conference and showcase BIGSOUND have added a new program to their event this year – the first BIGSOUND Music+Design program. The program’s showcase will feature a range of international speakers from a range of disciplines, who will discuss the design industry as it relates to the music industry.

Speakers include Grammy Award winning Rob Jones of Animal Rummy from the USA, who did the poster and cover art of The White Stripes as well has prolific Australian graphic designers Sonny Day (We Buy Your Kids), Ken Taylor and Christopher Doyle.

Other speakers include Ben Johnston (Josephmark) the man behind the rejuvenation of social media website MySpace, music photographer Kane Hibberd will also be sharing his knowledge from all his experience behind the lens, plus Sydney based illustrator, graphic designer, set designer and video director Jefferton James.

Brisbane’s Regurgitator, will also be speaking alongside their manager Paul Curtis (Consume) to discuss the impacts of their visual image on their music career.
BIGSOUND conference will run from September 10-11, with the showcase open on September 11-12.
