TILT (Tomorrow’s Ideas Leading Today) put on by The Australian Institute of Music will be featuring Australian rock legend, Peter Garrett, as its keynote speaker. TILT will be taking place on July 5th at the Australian Institute of Music in Surry Hills.
Along with Peter Garrett, some of the brightest minds the entertainment industry in Australia will be coming together to talk about the future of the industry while the world of technology is facing rapid changes.
Viral sharing has become a huge problem within the music industry and there is no better way to discuss the issues and try to find a solution then talk to the young professionals that are working in this industry every day.
The forum will be hosted by television presenter, Jason Mathison, and the professionals will be able to argue for a bug idea they feel strongly about after which the floor will be opened up for think-tank style discussion.
TILT will also offer industry ‘speed dating’ workshops where attendees can have a quick talk with experts in the fields of A&R, Touring, Marketing, Production and Management which will provide the attendees with more of a personalized insight into their topic of interest.

Danny Yau – head of Foxtel’s digital department for music and lecturer in Digital Marketing at AIM
