First we wait at an airport for 8 hours. Then we pick up our van and drive around looking for the venue, arrive 2 hours late, and break our asses getting our gear up the world's worst stairs or slowest lift. But in then end its all good cos after that we get to sink some sweet beers and play a sweet show to our sweet fans...

In NSW, more specifically Sydney, there s still definitely a shortage of live music venues. Personally we like to move around a bit and mix it up with the venues that we play in, but it just doesn't feel like there are the options there are in some of the other cities around the country that we have played in.

Some band who came and played shitty covers at our high school back in '97.

Don't go to high schools and play shitty covers
3. Got any pre-gig rituals?
Jack likes to bring a big bowl of paella thanks to his Spanish background, and we sit around and eat paella. Arthur will have a few beers and Paul will have a few smokes. That's about it.
4. What do you think the most important issue effecting artists in NSW is today?
I think there are a lot of important issues effecting artists in NSW today, several of which are more important than others, some less important, but one could definitely agree that there are a lot important issues effecting a lot of important artists not only in NSW but also perhaps in other states as well, not to say that issues effecting artists in other states are any less or more important than the important issues effecting artists in NSW.

Broken English, Mum and Dads Reggae band
2. What'd you learn from them?
How to use your kids as roadies...ha ha Na Learnt a lot about practice and performance as all 4 of us kids usually went to both practices and performances.

If I haven't done a sound check, I get really nervous and will sometimes vomit.
4. What do you think the most important issue effecting artists in N.S.W is today?
Not having a law that states all media outlets, radio/TV have to play at least 50% local Australian content. They have it in other countries.
5. If you weren't a musician what do you reckon you'd be doing?
Probably all the other things I'm already doing, Teaching and making Doco's
