Whichway is the key music development program for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music industry in NSW.

Intensive Industry Workshop June 2006
The 3 day workshop and information seminar gives Indigenous music artists information and skills that are necessary in order to develop and further their music careers. Whichway’s focus is on artists that are already active within the industry or artists that are industry ready.
The aims of the project are to increase the knowledge of the music industry and support organisations and to create links between industry professionals and support organisations.
The Industry workshop is the most extensive music industry workshop program offered to Indigenous artists in NSW. There is a large pool of Indigenous talent that needs to be encouraged to develop not only their music but also the means to get this music to a wider audience as well as to develop a career.
Leading industry professionals from record companies, artist’s managers, tour managers, music publicists and radio station managers give lectures. Representatives from leading industry and government support organisations such as ATSIAB, APRA, Artslaw, AMCOs PPCA, AMRAP, ArtsNSW and MusicNSW also give lectures at the workshops.
