NAIDOC Week celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and recognises the huge contributions made by Indigenous Australians to life in this country. 2020 focuses on Always Was, Always Will Be. acknowledging that the true history of this country dates back thousands of generations, as First Nations people have occupied and cared for this land for over 65,000 years.
We're lucky in this state to have some of the country's best exponents of Indigenous art and music, so we've put together a playlist of some of our fave NSW artists (and also some interstate artists we just couldn't leave out because, bangers) along with links where you can find out more and contribute to their work.

The staff of MusicNSW lives and works on the stolen land of the Gadigal, Djiringanj, Walbanga, Wandianian and Wiradjuri people, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be.
