triple j Unearthed has announced the partnering with the National Indigenous Music Awards to uncover the best unsigned Indigenous artists and bands in the country.
triple j Unearthed will be selecting one outstanding Unearthed Indigenous act who will win the opportunity to perform at the National Indigenous Music Awards [NIMAs] in Darwin on August 11.
The winner from the NIMAs triple j Unearthed competition will be flown from anywhere in Australia with two nights accommodation in Darwin plus an opportunity to attend the iNTune Music Industry conference! AWESOME RIGHT?
NIMA have also announced who they will be showcasing this year during the concert, with The Medics(QLD) and multi-award winning Yabu Band (WA) being announced so far. The full line up will be released in late June.
