Sound Summit Volunteer Call Out - MusicNSW

Looking to gain some practical experience in running live music events and festivals? Want to boost your CV with some volunteer work? Sound Summit 2013 is on the hunt for passionate volunteers to assist them during this year’s festival.

Sound Summit Festival – a project of MusicNSW –is happening within various venue spaces across Sydney between 7th-10th November, 2013.

There are various roles that need to be filled including stage hands, artist liaison, door managing, bar tending (current RSA needed), assisting in venue an audio/visual set-up and more. Additionally we are also looking for a Volunteer Coordinator, who would be responsible for overseeing all the volunteers from start to finish of the festival.

Terms and Conditions

We will try to allocate you a position that you would prefer, however no guarantees can be made. Please only apply if you are open to accepting any roles.

Volunteer shifts will be for approx. 3-4 hours per day only, excluding the Volunteer Coordinator role, which will involve liaising with the volunteers prior to the festival, post-festival and during each day of the festival briefing the volunteers in the morning, assisting with volunteer shift change-overs and debriefing in the evening.

Volunteers will be permitted one x free ticket to a festival day of their choice.
