NEW NOW is an all-ages alcohol-free gig series programmed by the MusicNSW Young People Committee featuring the best emerging talent from NSW and beyond
Through 8 events across 2020, NEW NOW will provide a space for young people to feel the electric charge of a live performance, the thrill of independence and discovery that comes with it, and the spark of connection that will keep them invested in live music for life.
These events take place on the stolen land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We extend our heartfelt respect to elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be.
Not Just a Gig Series
Far from just putting on some rad shows, NEW NOW aims to be a catalyst for the emergence of a vibrant all-ages gig going culture in which venues and promoters prioritise all-ages shows.
By giving young people more opportunities to experience music in person, we can make seeking out and supporting live music a value that defines the cultural life of our state once again.
