The culmination of the Outset program is coming, with the Youth Committee proudly unveiling their all ages gig, Coastal Grown.
Coastal Grown will happen on Gumbaynggirr Country at the Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour on 30 August. Following a callout for young guns in the area to apply to play the event, the
Youth Committee have carefully handpicked the Coastal Grown lineup, with local trailblazers
Korderoy, Lily Hallawell, Autopilot, Rhetorical? &
Temperate set to take to the stage.
Throughout July, 10 young individuals from all over the Mid North Coast were mentored by well-versed industry pros
Ben Lewis (Gig Big), Daniel Whiffen (Hoey Moey), Lisa Willows (RAWR Music Management/Rough Velvet Records), Lola Willows (The Cage) and
Nanette Backhouse (saso.creative/Punk Arts Collective) to develop and deliver their own event, gaining essential real-world experience and building valuable music industry connections and skills.
