Sound Advice: From Soundcheck to Showtime is about the power of knowledge - giving you the essential info you need to navigate tech specs, sound checks, and more, next time you hit the stage.
Join Oxford Art Factory in-house sound engineer Astrid Holz and front-of-house engineer for the Hoodoo Gurus Marshall Cullen as they show you how to navigate sound equipment in music venues. The discussion will be paired with a practical run through of a standard PA, where you can see it in action.
Afterwards, Holz and Cullen will dive into good practices when preparing for a live show and how to work well with venues and techs and you'll have a chance to ask your own questions.
