Every year, the first week of July is painted in celebration, historical recognition and the rich culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week 2025 is especially momentous, as it marks 50 years of celebrating First Nations culture, strength and community. This year’s theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy" looks to the future—our young leaders, the wisdom of our Elders, and the resilience of our community.
As an opportunity to learn more about First Nations cultures and histories and celebrate the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth, we have provided a rundown on NAIDOC Week events guide for all across NSW, so you can celebrate alongside mob near you. Be sure to check out the Official NAIDOC Calendar for more events.
