We’re excited to welcome Nooky and Thalia Skopellos to MusicNSW as part of our newly expanded First Nations team.

Joining First Nations Development Manager Kaleena Smith, Nooky and Thalia will strengthen our work supporting First Nations artists and music businesses across NSW, helping to grow a thriving, culturally safe and self-determined First Nations music sector.

Nooky steps into the role of First Nations Community Coordinator, where he will foster connections and develop programming shaped by community voices and aspirations. A proud Yuin and Thunghutti man, Nooky is a prominent artist (3%), radio host and the founder of social enterprise We Are Warriors.

Thalia Skopellos joins as First Nations Project Coordinator, leading the delivery of the Wamarra Music Lab and coordinating MusicNSW events and programs for First Nations artists and industry. An electronic music producer (Ellatronix), composer for screen, and the founder of publishing platform Storybeats, Thalia is a creative practitioner of Aboriginal (Yidinji) and Greek heritage. She brings a multidisciplinary practice and strong production expertise to her work.

Welcome Nooky & Thalia - we are overjoyed to have you on board!
