Travis De Vries is the founding director of Awesome Black, a platform dedicated to uplifting First Nations creatives. With over a decade of experience in the live performance and music industry, Travis is an award-winning photographer and a multifaceted artist, producer, and curator. He is deeply committed to fostering the growth and visibility of First Nations artists, exemplified by his work with the Blak Loud playlist in collaboration with Amazon Music AU. This initiative showcases new and emerging Blak music, providing a vital platform for artists to reach broader audiences. Through his leadership at Awesome Black, Travis champions the cultural and creative capacities of First Nations communities.
