Whether you’re planning a gig down the local, or a 20,000 capacity festival, you’ve got to have a handle on event planning fundamentals.

This Coffs Harbour instalment of SOUND ADVICE welcomes Ben Lewis (Director, Gig Big) as he lays out these fundamentals and gives you advice on how to make sure you maximise your event’s potential. This session will cover the spectrum from planning, funding, logistics and marketing, to actually staging the event.

Hosted by your Regional Music Officer for the Mid North Coast Ali Buckley, this event is free with registration and will conclude with a casual networking and Q&A session.

This event is taking place on stolen Gumbaynggirr land. MusicNSW acknowledges the traditional owners of this land and the colonial violence that displaced them. We pay our respects to Gumbaynggirr elders past and present, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
