PPCA – The Phonographic Performance Company of Australia – collects royalties which arise out of the playing of recordings on radio. This is separate to what APRA do, which is collecting songwriter’s royalties for songs which are played on the radio (and in other public places).
PPCA would like to remind all artists that if you have released a CD in the past year that the cut off date for registrations for PPCA’s current distribution is 31 October 2006.
