Council is invited to nominate attendees for a workshop at which the recent changes to the planning system concerning planning for entertainment will be examined.
The changes came into affect on October 26, 2009 and can be outlined here.
The event will consider the new system from the perspective of councils, regulators, venue operators and performers. Stakeholders from all of these groups and any other interested parties are welcome to attend. Speakers will include representatives form the Department of Planning and the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing.
Outside of Sydney workshops are happening in Wollongong, Newcastle, Dubbo and Parramatta from the 8th of December.
