The Australian Music Prize nominations have been announced today with The Sydney Opera House as the backdrop. The nominations come as a great nod to these artists, all of whom are released through independent labels.

The AMP 2010 winner will be announced Thursday MARCH 3 at the Annandale in Sydney, with the winner taking away a $30000 cash prize.
