SAE Sounds Competition - MusicNSW

SAE Institute, in collaboration with Austereo, is thrilled to launch SAE Sounds – a fresh and innovative competition showcasing the future of Australia’s audio engineering industry and providing undiscovered Australian talent with a platform to unveil their skills.

The winner will receive a full 1-year scholarship to study audio production with SAE Institute.

SAE Sounds calls on aspiring audio engineers to demonstrate their technical and creative aptitude and create an entirely new song based on at least six of the tracks provided on www.saesounds.com. After downloading and remixing these tracks, entrants upload their masterpiece to the SAE Sounds website.

The top five will go through to the Finals Round involving an interview with the SAE Audio department heavyweights, with the final winner receiving a full 1-year scholarship into SAE’s Bachelor of Audio Production. Through their training in the Bachelor of Audio Production the winner will learn the practical skills and solid theoretical understanding needed to make an impact in the industry.

Emma Hughes, SAE Institute’s National Marketing Officer said: “Through this exciting new competition, SAE Institute is proud to be able to give the future of Australia’s audio industry an opportunity to demonstrate their gifts, flex their creative muscle and really launch their career.
