Indent announce young local support acts for regional all ages tour - MusicNSW

Indent are thrilled to announce the support acts for the 2012 Indent regional tour featuring headliner Jinja Safari! Keeping with the theme of past Indent tours, the support program for 2012 is designed to provide a platform for young, up and coming bands to work with a professional production team, play to larger audiences and play alongside a nationally revered band.

Opening proceedings in Byron Bay will be the locally renowned folk star Reilly Fitzalan, folk-pop group Potato Potato and 2 Byron-based D.Js who’ll be spinning fresh tracks early. Warming the stage in Kyogle will be some of the finest young bands in the far north coast, newly-formed pop-rock groups The Maples, Faded Nation and The Habits.

Coffs Harbour will host an array of young and unique bands featuring renowned rock trio The Watched, rockin’ quartet SAYD and young garage-pop guns Smash Mystery. In Armidale, funky pop punk band Fresh Nelson and pop-rockers The Kennedys will get the guitars rumbling. First up will be a very special performance from a local Indigenous dance troupe.

Inverell will see the diverse indie-folk sensation Brother Fox take to the stage, with revered hip-hop MC Dukebox owning the mic first. Last but certainly not least, Gosford will have Triple J coveted Sons of Alamo warming the crowd, along with alt-pop bands Safro Lionza and Mystic Flare playing for the lucky people of Gosford.

Remember pre-book your tickets to make sure you don’t miss out! Tickets for the Indent regional tour are $10 + BF available now through www.oztix.com.au, as well as local outlets in each town.
