Social Media for Emerging Musicians Free Workshop

The Australian Government’s Office for the Arts’s Round 22 of the Contemporary Music Touring Program is now open for tours starting from 1 July 2012. Applications close at 5pm on 2 December 2011.The Contemporary Music Touring Program provides funding support for contemporary music touring activities.

Musicians and Centrelink Survey

Music Victoria is currently working with music industry bodies and musicians to look into some of the issues currently facing Australian musicians. Music Victoria is conducting a national research campaign on musicians’ access to Centrelink. This data will then be used to help formulate a submission to the Federal Government‘s National Cultural Policy.
