Designed to help businesses pay for expenses such as power, utilities and wages while trading is restricted. Eligible businesses receiving either the Small Business Grant or the Hospitality and Tourism Grant can receive: $10,000 for a decline in turnover of 70%, or more $7000 for a decline in turnover of 50%, or more $5000 for a decline in turnover of 30%, or more. 12 July 2021 9 August 2021 Australian Government Live Music Australia – Round 3 The Live Music Australia program will provide support to the live music sector, with a focus on small to medium venues that support high quality original Australian live music that is professionally staged. It aims to revive business ventures in local suburbs, towns and regions across the country, building capacity for a sustainable live music scene with strong community roots, in all parts of Australia. It is acknowledged that the music industry is facing increased pressures in light of the severe impacts of COVID-19, and that venues may require assistance as they begin to reopen and rebuild. 21 July 2021 7 September 2021 Australia Council for the Arts Contemporary Music Touring Program The Contemporary Music Touring Program (CMTP) supports national touring activity undertaken by Australian musicians. The tour must comprise of performances in at least three venues or locations outside of the performer’s hometown. Tours that include regional and remote destinations, or which assist performers residing in regional and remote areas to tour, are a priority for funding. If your itinerary contains only metropolitan performances, you may request up to $15,000. If your itinerary contains at least one regional or remote performance, you may request up to $25,000. If 75% of your itinerary is to remote and/or very remote locations, you may request up to $50,000. Please note: The minimum grant amount you can apply for is $5,000. performing original contemporary music. View Details
