Who we are
We're MusicNSW (Music NSW Incorporated), the peak body for contemporary music in NSW. This site is ours. Got questions? Drop us a line at info@musicnsw.com.
By using this site, you're agreeing to these terms
That's the deal. If something here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the site. We also have a Privacy Policy, it's worth a read too. If you're here on behalf of an organisation, we're taking that as confirmation you're authorised to agree to these terms for them.
We keep things updated
Our content and these terms can change. We'll always publish the latest version here, so check back if you want to stay across it. We do our best to keep things accurate, but we can't promise everything on the site is always current.
What this site is for
Personal, non-commercial use, that's it. If you want to use anything here for commercial purposes, get in touch and we can talk about it.
How we ask you to show up here
Pretty simple: don't do anything harmful, illegal, or that you wouldn't be comfortable owning publicly. That means no harassing people, no sharing others' private information without consent, no uploading viruses or messing with the site's functionality, no spam, and nothing that competes with MusicNSW's work.
Our content belongs to us
Unless we've said otherwise, everything on this site - text, images, audio, video and other materials - belongs to MusicNSW or is used with permission. Using the site doesn't give you rights to any of it. Please don't copy, republish, modify, or embed our content elsewhere without asking first.
If you share something with us
Parts of the site may let you submit content. If you do, you're telling us you have the right to share it and that it doesn't step on anyone else's rights. You're also giving us permission to use and share it through our platforms, we won't claim it as ours, but we do need that permission to publish. We can remove anything at any time.
Links we include
We link to a few third-party platforms - Humanitix for tickets, Monday.com for program applications, Mailchimp for email and newsletters. They're not ours, so we're not responsible for them. It's worth reading their own terms if you want to know how they operate.
The legal stuff
There are a few things we're legally required to be clear about, so here they are, as plainly as we can put them:
- Your consumer rights: Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- Availability: We can't guarantee the site will always be up, error-free, or completely secure. We may take it down or restrict access at any time, without notice.
- Our liability: To the extent allowed by law, MusicNSW isn't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site - including outages, inaccurate content, or data issues. You use it at your own risk.
- Your liability: If your use of this site causes MusicNSW to incur a legal claim or loss, you may be liable, even after you’re stopped using the site.
- If there's a dispute: Let's talk first. Put the issue in writing, and we'll make a genuine effort to sort it out within 21 days.
- Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
- Accessing from overseas: This site can be used from outside Australia, but we don't guarantee it complies with laws in other countries.
- If part of this doesn't hold up: If any section of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
