Introducing Lost Pavements – a musical voyage that traverses the bitumen between Sydney and three orbiting cities: Newcastle, Western Sydney and Wollongong - tracing touring routes that are often overlooked.
What It Is
At its heart, Lost Pavements is about uncovering lost pathways: strengthening the connections between neighbouring music communities and giving artists practical experience of what it means to take their music beyond their own city.
Emerging artists from each region will be selected to travel together across the four-day tour, performing in each city and sharing the road, stages and audiences along the way. The tour kicks off in Sydney on Thursday, 5 November, before travelling to Newcastle, Western Sydney and Wollongong over the following three days.
