Introduction

Compiling a grant application is a tedious beast that tends to feel overwhelming when trying to conquer it. When you bring the financial side into the picture, it can seem daunting to consider budgets, prep and planning that’ll seem feasible enough for assessors to honour your grant.

To make the money side of things feel a little less stressful, we’ve created a Grant Budget Example template, relevant to recording, touring and general grants, so you can trust in your numbers and express in detail to an assessment panel where the funds will go, how they’ll be used and why you need the grant. Inside this resource is also an examples list of things you would include in a budget.

This is a fictitious example of grant budgets, and is not based on any real quotes. These templates can be shared in addition to support materials such as quotes and in-kind partnership support letters.
