Vol. 4 of the MusicNSW Sydney Social Club is here – our series of real world meet ups for the people making the music happen.  

The final installment for 2026 will see us partner with ONE OFF TRAKS to bring you a unique listening party experience. Celebrating the new world of Tone Shift, we’re asking women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming artists to submit their unreleased demos* to be previewed in full on the night.

We’ll hear directly from the artists about the concepts and meaning behind their songs, the people they collaborated with, as well as their plans for finishing and releasing their songs. Taking place in Darlinghurst’s new hideout, Dead Set, this event will provide Sydney artists and industry folk with the opportunity to connect with their community, learn new tricks and tips of the trade, and celebrate some of the freshest new unreleased music coming from Sydney’s underground.

*Please note that we’re particularly keen to hear your unreleased DEMOS, so priority will be given to songs that aren’t fully mixed and mastered - show us a work-in-progress!

Caitlin (CP) oversees the development and delivery of initiatives to support artists and industry workers to develop skills, knowledge, inspiration and networks. She has 10+ years experience in the industry as an artist/producer (HANDSOME), event curator (Pleasures Playhouse), record label project manager (Elefant Traks), music director, radio host and touring musician, working with artists like MAY-A, Ayesha Madon, total tommy, EGOISM and more. CP is based on Gadigal country.

Jannah Beth

Artist / MusicNSW Artist Ambassador

Jannah Beth is a Blue Mountains-based artist, songwriter and creative leader whose work spans music, artist development and artist-led infrastructure.

As an artist, she has released music independently, toured nationally and internationally, and supported artists including Kae Tempest, The Herd and Horrorshow. Her current project, Future Shade, is an Australia/Aotearoa electronic duo creating cinematic, emotionally charged music between the organic and electronic.

In 2021, Jannah co-founded Offbeat Collective, an artist-led social enterprise and six-room studio hub in Marrickville supporting hundreds of independent artists each year. She also co-founded ONE OFF TRAKS, a songwriting and production program creating space for women, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse artists to collaborate and develop their practice. Across her work, Jannah is focused on building more sustainable, artist-led pathways for independent music and creating the spaces and opportunities she wished existed earlier in her own career.
