To celebrate the end of 2026, MusicNSW is hosting a listening party at The Servo in Port Kembla. From 6-9pm, artists and the wider local music community will come together to hear new work, share ideas and talk about the process behind the music.
Artists from the region are invited to submit a new release, an unreleased track or a brand new demo to be played in the room, followed by a short Q&A about the song, so we can find out where it came from, what stage it's at and what the artist is working toward.
10 songs will be selected for the listening session, with successful artists being notified by Monday 30 November. All selected artists MUST be attend the event in-person for their song to be played and to take part in the Q&A.
The event creates a space for artists to meet each other, discover new local music, get fresh ears on works-in-progress, and to build connections with industry folks across local area.
Hosted by:
Cody Munro Moore (Wollongong Coordinator, MusicNSW)
*Please note that we’re particularly keen to hear your unreleased DEMOS, so priority will be given to songs that aren’t fully mixed and mastered.
Show us a work-in-progress!
Please note: Submissions are curated by Cody Munro Moore. Selected artists for the listening party must be present on the night. Limited spots available, so secure yours now.
