MusicNSW Regional Managers Sophie Jones & Nino Haggith said:

"The talent coming out of regional NSW continues to blow us away. The volume and quality of applications made this one of the most competitive years yet, and choosing just 15 artists was incredibly difficult. What I love about this year's cohort is how strongly it reflects regional NSW, with artists from the Central West, South Coast, Riverina, Mid North Coast, Northern Rivers and North West all represented. Four years into the program, it's also fantastic to see some artists who have applied year after year finally get their chance,
"Regional music is the heartbeat of the Australian music scene. It's where communities gather, stories are shared, and some of our most exciting artists cut their teeth on stages that sit far beyond the capital cities. The MusicNSW Regional Touring Program exists to celebrate and strengthen that ecosystem — creating opportunities for artists, promoters, venues and audiences to connect through the power of live music.”

Original artists based in regional NSW were invited to apply for the regional touring opportunity, which is in its fourth year and led by MusicNSW’s Regional team. Supported by Create NSW and Sound NSW, MusicNSW is working across the state to increase contemporary music touring, expand artist and industry networks, and build on existing industry knowledge in regional NSW.

Check out the acts below, and stay tuned for further details on when you can get along to a show in your region.
