LEVELS 2020 || One-on-One Audio Engineering workshops - MusicNSW
levels 2020

MusicNSW’s new-look Levels program for 2020 will kick off with one-on-one Audio Engineering workshops run at the iconic Studios 301 on Saturday 27 June. As with all Levels events, these workshops are open to women, trans and non-binary applicants only.

The hour-long workshops will be packed with personalised advice on producing and mixing your track, from world-class audio engineers Antonia Gauci (Will.I.Am, Kesha, DMA’s) and Georgia Collins (Birds of Tokyo, Body Type, Bachelor Pad), all in the state-of-the-art surrounds of Studios 301 in Sydney.

It’s a perfect opportunity, whether you’re a solo artist or you’re repping your band, to take your sound to the next level. Come prepared with your track session and your questions loaded up, and make the most of this rare learning experience. Apply below!

These workshops take place on the stolen land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We extend our heartfelt respect to elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be.

Levels is proudly supported by Create NSW and APRA AMCOS.

To be a successful applicant you must:

  • identify as a woman, trans or non-binary person;
  • have a written song or demo to work on;
  • have a laptop with aux port and the session ready to go.

Applications are open now until Friday 19 June. Successful applicants will be contacted by Wednesday 24 June.

The health and safety of successful applicants is of the utmost importance to us and we will be adhering to Studios 301’s strict distancing and hygiene protocols during the workshops.

NB: For aspiring recording artists, engineers and producers who do not have access to recording equipment or are not quite ready to workshop their material, we are aiming to deliver masterclasses later in the year which will not require this level of preparation. So stay tuned!
