Before The Gates Open

What does it actually take to build an audience, create momentum and turn online buzz into a packed room full of people?

Tune in to a real-life example at La La La’s, as we dive deep into the marketing and promotion of one of the Gong’s most beloved music festivals – Yours & Owls. Courtesy of the festival’s Head of Marketing Brooke Taylor, take a peek behind the curtain as Brooke breaks down real campaign timelines, social media strategies and promotional decisionmaking that you can apply to your own DIY releases, shows and tours.

This workshop will cover topics like:

  • Developing an audience – who you're targeting and how to reach them
  • Storytelling and branding – how to show people who you are and why they should care
  • Content planning and campaign rollout – how to build hype and keep it going

Light catering will be available.
