Knowing how to pitch, price yourself and plan a release shouldn't be a mystery - but for women and gender diverse artists in regional NSW, the path forward isn't always clear. This workshop is designed to demystify the process, offering up the tools and conversations that you deserve access to.
Join us for a panel discussion led by folk duo Great Aunt, as they dive into building confidence as an artist and finding and building community in spaces that don't always make room for you. Then, our own MusicNSW Program Manager Caitlin McGregor will go into curating release plans and other strategies to help you prepare for your next release.
All are welcome, however you will get the most out of this workshop if you are a woman or gender diverse, early to mid-career artist.
They will cover topics like:
Artists – bring forward a track you’re working on, have recorded or are about to release, and receive advice from the panel on how to get your music out into the world.
